Från Ljungdalens camping går leden brant uppför genom blandskog och myrmark. Vägen upp erbjuder ett par vackra naturliga rastplatser och på myrarna finns flera olika orkidéer.
En bit upp breder utsikten över Ljungdalsberget och närliggande fjäll ut sig. Väl framme vid Husvålsfjällets fot fortsätter leden några hundra meter över myrar, för att sedan gå ner i dalgången till resterna av den gamla renvaktarstugan. Kom ihåg att det finns ingen möjlighet att rasta i själva stugan.
Gå sedan samma väg tillbaka.
The trail goes steeply upward from Ljungdalens Camping, through mixed forest and across marshes. The route up has some beautiful natural picnic spots and there are orchids in the marshes.
A little way up, the view opens up across Ljungdalsberget and nearby mountains. Once at the foot of Husvålsfjället, the trail continues across marshes for a few hundred metres and then goes through the valley to the ruins of the old reindeer herder’s cabin. Please remember that it is not possible to picnic or rest in the cabin.
